1st Technical round (1 hour):

• Design an LRU based caching of capacity n.
• Given an unsorted array of size n and elements <=n, find the missing number. For example in [2,4,3,5], 1 is the missing.
• Given an unsorted array of size n containing consecutive numbers, find the next number in that series. For example in [4,3,6,5], the output should be 7.

Solved all the questions. There were two panel members in this round, both were impressed.

2nd Technical round (1.5 hour):

• Design a LLD for a file sharing system.

There was only one panel member and he didn't communicate anything. After the initial discussion around the requirements , he muted himself and spoke after I was almost done. I said I could implement caching, long polling etc as well but he said it's not required.

Then I got a call from HR after 1 hour saying that I got rejected. When I asked for feedback, he said that caching, long polling were missing from my code (which I had asked the interviewer and he had replied that it's not required)

The second round experience was a very bad one. At one point, I had to call HR inbetween the interview saying that the panel member has muted himself and he's not saying anything (after which he unmuted himself towards the end).
