JPMC shortlisted me for Code For Good initiative through their career portal where I made a profile and applied for the same. I got contacted for the Technical interview on phone call.
Technical Interview-
The interviewer seem very bold and forward in his approach on asking me questions. As Code For Good event is a coding based event for solving real world problems, the interviewer had a very clear cut questionare approaching in testing my technical abilities.
He asked me what are my interests. I replied Data Structures and Algorithm. He asked me to tell him about any technical skillset other that the simple subjects that I have studied in my college. As I have done a few projects on IOT, Mobile App-Development and Machine Learning, he wanted me to explain about each and my contribution to them, as I had mentioned this in my job profile as well.
As I explained about each project and the technical approach used to comlete them, I was asked questions about the underlying technological concepts. Following are the questions I was asked depedning on my project topics:-
IOT - how does Google Assistant , Siri and Bigby work. What is difference between NLP and Voice Recognition? Why I choose C++ and Python as my main programming language.
Mobile App Development - What’s the importance of user interface/user experience (UI/UX) in mobile application development? Why Error Handling is an important part of app development. What are my favourite apps.
Machine Learning - What is ML? Explain Naive bayes. Explain KNN algo. What are SVM?Difference between AI, ML and Deep Learning.
It was kind of a rapid fire round where he kept on asking me questions and I kept on answering them. The interview lasted 45 minutes.
