Applied through LinkedIn Jobs and After 2 days recruiter called me for scheduling interviews (given a week time).

All rounds were elimination rounds and happened on the same day in my case.

Round 1 :: Coding Competency by SDE2 (1 hour)

• In this round, interviewer asked me to implement unordered maps with similar complexity. Later asked me about the time and space bounds for the solution. Interviewer was very helping in this round.

Round 2 :: Design Competency by Architect (45 mins)

• I was previously told by the recruiter to prepare for low level design and HLD is not something they look for this position. I was asked to design book my show. I designed the LLD of the system and gave them the over view of the solution. In particular, i was asked to describe book a slot usecase and how i will handle concurrency issues. It was again a healthy conversation and interviewer was very supportive.

Round 3 :: Bar Raiser by Team Lead (1 hour)

• This round started with my past experience and what my current role is all about. We were using distributed queue for communication between our microservices. The interviewer asked me to implement a Queueing Service as a Library. . This round tested all my behaivioural, coding and design capabilities.

Round 4 :: HR Round (30 mins )

Observations :

1. They are not looking for the exact solution to the problem. They just check your boundaries, how you think and implement solution.
2. More interested to know if things scale up, how you would deal with it. So make sure you go with the optimised approach.
3. Be loud with your approach, sometimes you dont catch the things which they do. That really helps, trust me :)
