Process:
Contacted by a Rakuten India recruiter in April 2021. Took 3 weeks to complete all rounds.

Round 1 (Senior Developer):
a. Started with cloud and Microservices related question. Discussed Database technologies and resilience in microservices.
b. medium LC question on matrix.
c. core Java and OOPS related question

Round 2 (Team Lead):
a. LRU design and explain/compare other cache algorithms.
b. medium linkedlist based question
c. Java threads hard question.

Round 3 (Architect / VP ) :
a. Explained current project, had multiple follow ups and draw entire high level design. Explained one or two component in detail.
b. Tree medium LC question, with few follow ups.
c. Career goals related discussion.

Round 4 (HR , 30 minutes only ):
a. Why Rakuten India
b. Salary expectation and career goals in 5 years

After one week recruiter called for salary negotiation, explained all the benefits and work culter.
