JUSPAY Interview Experience
I got placed as a Software Development Engineer Intern in Juspay. Juspay interview was divided into four parts -
Online Coding test - This round consisted of 3 questions. The questions were based on Trees and Graphs. The questions were fairly simple if you have some basic knowledge about trees and graphs, like finding cycles, islands, searching, pathfinding, etc.
Online coding test - This round consisted of 1 question. The question was relatively harder. It was also based on trees. It's tough because of the time complexity. To pass all the test cases, one needs to make all the functions in either O(1) or O(logn).
Hackathon - In this round, we need to convert the same answer as the previous round to thread-safe. Thread-safe means the function should work in a multithreading environment. These are relatively difficult as these types of questions and topics are not available on most of the coding sites as well as not present in our college course syllabus. One needs to learn about how multithreading works and how it can make or destroy a program. This round for me started at 11 AM and ended at 6 PM. For many students, it even continued on the next day. The interviewers are very helpful as well as very knowledgeable in these domains.
Technical Interview - My interview, was taken by Vimal Kumar, CEO of JUSPAY, a very knowledgeable person. It was one of the most difficult and interesting interviews ever. The interview was based on the operating system, system design, and multithreading. It started at 9 PM and ended at 1 AM.
