Interviewer was nice, but he was down to the point.
Threw one medium LC and one hard LC question at me.
First one was: 33. Search in Rotated Sorted Array
Second one was: 282. Expression Add Operators
I managed to solve and write flawless code for the first question, then walk through a test case step by step (they have compile disabled on coderpad) and prove that my code and logic works perfectly, which the interviewer acknowledged. Second question was tough, I broke it down into pieces then coded a high level function for recursively creating expressions by the order of O(4^n). I didnt have time to code the whole thing but my logic and approach were sound, and when I checked later, matched the solution on LC. Interviewer acknowledged my solution and indicated that it was correct.
A week later, I recieve a rejection letter in my inbox.
Interview process was nice, but rejections like this suck big time, especially when you think you've done well.
