Technical (1 hour):
Technical (1 hour):
Manager Round(1hour):
Result: Offer.
The worst experience I've ever had with HR. Took awhile for a written offer. I asked to speak to the tech lead to learn more because I was hesistant of the position. The recruiter was in our zoom call, listening to our conversation. It made me uncomfortable because the tech lead was talking about salary.
Recruiter encouraged me to provide documents that were NDA so they can match RSU and other compenstation. I told him that I cannot send him documents because the paper says "NDA".
He gave me a verbal offer of 90k + 30k sign on bonus. I was pretty satisfied with that consiering i'd lose my RSU from my current company. I told him to send the contract over. When i read the contract, the final offer came out to be 90k + 3k sign on. I followed up with him and he told me to get my ears checked. Super rude to me from the very beginning. Dell has been quite unpleasant to work with.
The lead and the manager were cool people. The other engineers seemed pretty dead inside. The interview process was on the easier side compared to other FAANG. They seemed like they wanted me more than i wanted them.
I ended up rejecting the offer.
