Hi All,
Hope you all are doing great ,
Small Introduction about me-:
-> Graduated in Computer Science from Tier 3 University
-> Worked for Around 2 years in product based company
-> Total LC problems Solved -> 300 (Mostly Medium)
Let me tell you about my journey of interviewing with multiple organizations-:
Amazon-: Cleared OA, Onsite Interviews but got Rejected in Bar-Raiser
Flipkart-: Cleared Machine Coding round but rejected in problem solving
DeShaw India-: Cleared Online Assesment but Rejected in problem solving (didnt prepared puzzles)
Goldman Sachs-: Cleared Online Assesment , 2 Coderpad and 2 interviews but got rejected since I did not remebered Kruskal's algorithm Code.
UrbanClap-: Online Assesment not cleared
Arcesium-: Online Assesment not cleared
Microsoft-: Applied Referral but did not got a call for interview scheduling
DP World -: Cleared online test and first F2F but rejected in second F2F
Target -: Cleared First f2f but rejected in second f2f (This was strange since both rounds went well)
Spinny -: Cleared OA but rejected in Machine Coding round
Supr Daily -: Cleared OA and first Machine Coding round but rejected in second f2f
Discovery -: Resume not shortlisted (Yes, this also happens)
Money View -: Cleared OA but rejected in first f2f due to problem solving
Nurture.farm -: Cleared OA but got rejected in first f2f
Turvo -: Selected ( Got 100% hike on base salary :)) )
Some of my learnings-:
-> Please appear for interviews of multiple companies since companies are also interviewing multiple candidates for a single position
-> Due to Covid times, you might feel that it has become little more difficult to find a new job which is totally true since everyone is giving interviews while working from home .. LOL
-> Do not hesitate to negotiate salary since salary is the only motivation in the long run while working for the organization
-> Some of rejections can come not because of candidate fault but other reasons are also possible( like position already got filled or they found someone more qualified at lesser price etc etc)
-> For SDE1, prepare Machine Coding round along with DS (Most rejections happen here only)
Remember, One selection is sufficent to overcame all your rejections.
Please feel free to ask any questions if you have and I will try to reply to each one of them...
