The video interview has two senior tpm invovled, one was conducting and another was shadowing
- lots of BQ questions, mainly about how I was tracking projects, what was the issues and so on (not really technical)
- i.e. they asked what if the project was delayed, what would be the impact, how would I handle that.
- question about virtualization (process, thread), I'm not faimlar with. The answers were not good according to their faces
- question about setting a technical dashboard for monitoring machines that receives the traffic all over the word.
- mainly I needed to exlain what kind of metrics to be put on the dashboard
- I said about latency, errors, status of nodes, etc. (seems too simple, any advices?)
Overall, we had one hour interview without coding or real system design questions, I was suprised.
Two days later, I got an email from the recuirter, no feedback provided and rejected. I feel I had red flag(s), not sure if it's about virtualization questions.
It's my first time having an interview with Amazon, does someone could provide some suggestions for the preparation? I thought the coding would be the major part. Many thanks in advances.
