I applied via LinkedIn and received an email with the Coding Assignment.  I have 7+ years of experience. 

• Round1: Coding Assignment 
(Had to build an app with SSR. Design and API  were shared - No CSS library allowed for the design) - Went well
  (Sorry, I can't share details about the task)

• Round2: Zoom Call - We discussion on Javascript and Frameworks. Performance was on focus. Went well.  


• Round3: Zoom - Asked few JS questions and 1 LP problem to code (medium) - Went okay - I feel took a little more time to understand the problem.

• Round4: Zoom - Just discussion about how I do stuff and what interest I have. Went really well.

HR send an email saying I cleared all round and asked for the payslip and other docs. I sent them all. HR called and asked about my expected CTC again as We did talk about my current CTC and expected CTC after 1st round and she seems okay with it.

But after Round4 She said, she can make it to X (very close to my current CTC - X is more like an apprisal than a job offer) and will see if Y is possible. Y was my lowest expected CTC. I told HR that I can think if CTC is Y. She didn’t reply anymore.

I don't know why HR went with all those rounds after the 1st one if they are not ready to pay even Y.
I wasn't even asking too much but definitely it should be enough that worth changing a Job.
No hard feeling as it's a good learning experience but definitely a waste of time for 4-5 people including her.
