Status: 2+ yr exp, MS CS

Technical phone screen (1 hour):

• Behavioral questions (Generic)
• Algorithm question (Hashmap, Binary Search)
  First question was direct through hashmap, need to map bank account with names.
  Second question has range instead of fixed no. Did with help of binary search. Could be done using segmented tree or BST.
  Result - Passed

Onsite (5 rounds):
1st - Technical - Interview was 10 min late
Q - We have a work schedule for few people. Need to schedule them so that nobody works on consecutive days.
S - DFS (backtracking)
My assesment -Took a lot of time to cover corner cases and left no time for 2nd question so - Average

2st - Technical
Q - Find no of employees reporting to a manager
S - BFS
Next questions were on optimization, find invalid loops (manger1 -> manager2, manager2 -> manager -> 1)
My assesment -Interviewer was confused with Python. But I guess it went well.

3rd - Behavioural

Tip - create ans for any bias/ assumption you experienced at office and how you corrected it. (Main question)
Neve cut the interviwer when they are speaking. Mine took offense

4 th: Technical
Q - Longest Consecutive Sequence
S - (See on leetcode)

Couldn't come up with O(n) solution. Catastrophic failure

5 th: Technical
Q - There are n didtributed machine. Tell me the watemark. (watermark is the largest consective no machine from 1 where work is completed)
For ex - if n = 10. Completed work - 1,2,3,5,6,7,8,10
Watemark = 3
now if 4 completes work
watermark = 8
S - Set based solution

A lot of Follow up questions as a did the main solution in 10 mins.
