Round 1:
- Coding question was weird because he just gave me an array and told me to sort it however I wanted, he said bubble sort was fine and that we could just discuss more optimal solutions at the end, I've never heard of this happening before?
- LP's went pretty well he asked me to talk about a time that I had to make a tough choice based on the limited information - I had a pretty solid story lined up for that and the interviewer seemed satisfied.
Round 2:
- Number of Islands
- LP's went well I think, interviewer was going to ask me 3 questions but said my first one answered two separate questions at the same time (not sure if that's good or bad in terms of what they want to hear)
Round 3:
- Asked me LP's first but it went a little longer than the others
- This was an object oriented design round and he asked me to design an elevator system based on some of the given functions
- Unfortunately, I was already short on time and was slowly getting to where he wanted but at that point we were about out of time, he said I didn't have to implement it and I could just discuss the ideas and ways that I'd handle the stuff in question. But out of the three I'd say this was my worst one just because I felt like I got very little done on the actual code-on-paper portion of it.
