I applied for Netflix's first internship program.
Step 1: CodeSignal: Thought I did very poorly. Only got 2.5/4 of the questions right.
Step 2: Behavioral: Talked to a recruiter who was new at Netflix. We really hit it off. Talked about the Netflix culture memo and some other generic behavioral questions.
Step 3: Technical: Asked to reorder a linked list with all the odd indexed nodes preceeding the evens. It was a pretty easy question, and I solved it pretty fast. I checked for a few edge conditions, and the guy said it was good. We talked for a bit about Netflix and his job.
Step 4: Hiring Manager: Pretty laid back interview. Talked about my past experiences and my interests. Didn't really hit it off with the guy like I did in step 2, but I wouldn't say it was a bad interview.
Heard back in about 5 days with a rejection. Wasn't an automated reject. I was sort of surprised, but c'est la vie.
