So, I have been preparing for the last 3 months and I applied at many places naturally. I have about 8 years experience in Wev Dev.
I thought Walmart Labs would have a good standard when it comes to the questions they would ask or at least the professionalism they would show.

I regret that I didn't find both in the process.

The first round was DS/Problem Solving and it appeared some sort of virtual Walk-in because they kept me waiting for about 30 mins before they let me in. When I was able to join, there were about 6 people and I was asked to go in the Zoom Breakout room with one of them.

The following questions were asked:

1. Paranthesis Stack Question. (Easy)
2. Create a Stack DS from arrays. (Super-easy)
3. Merge Sort explanation and code. (More theoretical, but OK)
4. Function to know if a number is prime? (You're kidding right?)
5. What is memoization? (Maybe we're picking up speed now)
6. Definition of "tries". (Nope, still theoretical)
7. How to cut a cake to divide into 8 equal parts? (What is this a college interview?)
8. If an ant is in 1 corner of the room, what would be the most efficient path to take to reach the opposite 3D corner. (FML)

Overall, I thought the round was like easy and seemed it was more focussed on very easy problems which are meant for like Freshers. Given my experience set, I expected more, but I thought this is maybe the first of many rounds.

The next round started 2 hours later, however I was told there would be only 1 round that day. Somehow, I managed, and again had to wait like 30 mins(WTF)!

This time the round started with Node specific questions.
I mean I understand it is an integral part, but this is not I was expecting, I was heavily prepared with DS/Algos etc. I didn't even realize companies of this scale ask such language specific questions like:

1. Buffer data type in node.
2. Event system in node.

After a few minutes I told them that I won't be able to interview for node specific stuff today, if they want they can call it a day or I can re-appear after some preparation.

To my surprise they agreed, but no follow-up for the next week. I had even emailed to confirm the date. I thought they had ignored and moved on to my usual preparation. Then the recruiter emailed out-of-the blue with a date 2 days ahead. I wanted some time because this seemed sudden but still went ahead with it.

When the day of the interview arrived, I was told I was the only one appearing, so there won't be any waiting like last time.

But when reality check came, no one friggin appeared for the interview.

I was furious. Not only is it wasting my time, it is unprofessional. The least they could have done is inform me.

I emailed them about it and how it was unprofessional from their side, but, no response from their side even after a week.
