I have an overall experience of 3 years in the industry.

**Interview process: **

  1. Online assesment : Standart questions from leetcode Amazon OA list.
  2. Virtual onsite 1, coding round :
    https://leetcode.com/problems/integer-to-english-words/
https://leetcode.com/problems/maximum-subarray/ ( the interviewer asked for an O(n) approach)
  3. Virtual onsite 2 : Around 1.5hr, 45 min of behavioural round, 45 min of system design ( Design a tinyURL service) and one basic question on binary tree.
  4. Virtual onsite 3 : 1.5 hr (45 min LP, 45 min system design ( Design a Food delivery service) )
  5. Virtual onsite 4 ( Bar raiser) : 45 min of LP again, 1 sliding window question (https://leetcode.com/problems/sliding-window-maximum )

My thoughts :

Overall, Amazon heavily focuses on LPs, my suggestion to candidates would be to prepare them in advance, be clear on the what and why's of technologies being used during your prior work experience. In case you did not get time to understand a concept/technology stack, have a solid reason behind it. Try to back your experiences with data and reasoning. Amazon focuses more on Medium level questions. I completed a total of ~200 questions (120 medium, 25 hard, rest easy). Conceptually, try to be clear on as many topics as you can.

Thoughts on negotiation :
Be ready to walk away from the offer to have an upper hand in negotiation. As soon as the recruiter sees you're in, your negotiation power goes away.
