I was in Dilema. It would be great help for me if any one suggest best for me.
I was 2.2 years experience as Software Developer in India, and at present my Salary was 11.5 Lakhs Fixed and 1.5 Lakhs Bonus
From Past Months in my project getting huge Traffic. So, there is no proper resource for real time data anlytics and getting insights from data with ML alogorthims etc.
So till past months back i was Backend Software Developer with Spring Boot. Once i had say to my manager i know bit about data science. So from past 4 months onwards he asked me to work on Real Time Datanalytics and finding patterns in Data. So I have some expereince in python. So, From past 4 months I was completely involved in Pythom Data Enginner but Know I was in dilema.
Its been almost 4 months I didnt touch Spring Boot ( Backend Development).
So, I was unable to decide Either to choose my career as Software Developer or Data Engineer.
Because At present I was 2+ years exp stage --> I can get better opputunites in other companies as software developer but becasue of from past 4 months drop i was forgotting some spring concepts and slowly acquiring knowledge on Python and ML algorithms and anlytics and ELK.
So, at this stage if i still be in this company as Data Engineer with Python will, I get better oppurtuniets in terms of company and pay as I only have 4 months exp in this field or will I try Software developer roles as i was forgotting all in long run.
I was not getting much time on leetocode but what i undertsand is when i was continuously practising for a week on leetcode i was able to attempt easy questions and able to think some apporaches for medium question but because of I need to do certfications on data scince and ML topics as my manager insisting me to do to help my project. I was not getting much time on leetcode. When i was giving gaps like week or 2 weeks i was again forgotting some concepts as i was not practicing daily.
This ML and Data science are new to me but really I learned lot in these 4 months and do some certifications online but i dont know how this will help in my career in long run like frequent chnaging of tech stack.
I was in very big dilema what to choose and please suggest me best advice.

- In terms of better pay
