Python just for the interviews, good or bad idea?

Hi all!

I have experience with Java(around 6 years) and Kotlin(2+ years). I decided to learn Python to prepare for the coding interviews for two reasons:

  • I want to get better as a developer and therefore learn another language.
  • I read everywhere it is easier, faster than java for interview questions.

Is it a good choice to learn Python (or any other language) just for the interviews? Is it a bad choice because I do not use it daily? Should I stop this approach and focus just in java?

Looking forward to your thoughts.

Thanks!
