Hi Everyone,\n\nI am a Senior Front End Engineer with 7 years of experience, working at a reputed startup. I am planning to switch to FAANG in couple of months. Started my DS and Algo prep (I worked with DS and Algo in my college days after that there was a gap till now) in April. I have solved good amount of leetcode questions (200+) very honestly. Some questions took like 4 hrs, some were easy which I solved in 5-10 minutes.\n\nI have comparatively good experience with System Design, my daily interaction with backend team has helped me to know about how system works. \n\nDo I need to slog solving DS and Algo questions? I can explain all DS and algos like sorting verbally. But I find solving these questions time consuming.\n\nI mean I am good at Front end technologies, I can code pixel perfect UI components. I should be tested on these right?\n\nCause if I get in, I am pretty sure my first task will be to design a dashboard UI or may be change some UI.\n\nMy point is, just to get into FAANG as a **Front End Engineer**, I need to solve these DS questions?
