I've an upcoming phone screen in two weeks. I've been preparing very hard using the tips given on this forum as well as the interview prep material provided by the recruiter.

However, I realized that though I have made good progress across various topics to be covered, I am lightyears away from the expectations of a FAANG coding interview and nowhere near the expected time or being able to write an optimal solution, yet.

This is going to be my first interview in more than a decade. I made a mistake and should have pushed out the interview by several months.

Anyone else have a similar experience and is it a good idea to be upfront with the recruiter and ask for moretime and move out the interview?
