Time Management and Effective Scheduling

Hi, I've recently started doing problems and studying algorithms but I don't know if my time management is good. Most days I only solve 1 or 2 problems and spend the rest of my leetcode time (3-4 hours) watching videos, reading guides, or debugging my code. I spend roughly 2-5 days covering a single topic (theory + some problems) depending on how complex it is. I'll only start interviewing next year but I'm not sure that I'm managing my time efficiently right now or studying effectively. So, I'd appreciate advice for the following questions I've got:

  • How many problems should I do per day?
  • How much time should I allocate to a single problem? This includes reading solutions, debugging and trying to figure out where I went wrong.
  • Is it better to just solve problems instead of reading theory? And if I should read theory, how much time should I spend on it?

Thanks in advance.
