Amazon gave me an offer about three weeks ago. I told them I wanted to wait to hear from my Google interview. Google told me they would give me an offer, passed HC and everything but due to Covid they are only hiring for 'priority' positions and the team I had originally matched with was not approved as priority. So I have been in this limbo state with Google for about a month now where I'm waiting for various teams to get priority approval before I can match with them.

I would prefer the Google job but its starting to seem like this could take many months before I can get approval and meanwhile I'm afraid of losing the Amazon offer, and then Google not panning out. Does anyone know if Amazon eventually rescinds an offer or how long an offer lasts?
