Folks, I am in my mid career having about 10+ years of total experience. I have been mostly coding in C. I coded rarely in C++ at work place. Due to my own interest I learnt python. Python does not fit for the projects I did so far. I like to move to devops role in cloud domain but so far I never worked in any public cloud. I have theoritical knowledge acquired thru various ways. I dont like to code in C/C++ but I only get short listed for the jobs that are mostly in C/C++ because of work so far. I like to know what is the best way to switch cloud and change my language to either Java or Python. How hard to get job with theoritical knowledge of docker/kubernetes in AWS. Based on number of Job opportunities now and future what is the best language to learn. I know basic Java. Any suggestions/pointers?
