Regarding the monthly challenges:
Would be awesome if there were (maybe say 3?) "ignore this problem with no penalty" provisions. Just being stuck at home doesn't mean life stops - sh#t still happens. What happens when you're 25 days into a streak, and - yep - you badly burn your fingers cooking, and can't type? You've got family/social commitments (even via Zoom) that chew up hours more than you expect because everyone you know is desperate for social contact? Kids that want/need more attention because you're home more often? Trying to code while on painkillers - not good. Trying to code while sleep-deprived - not good. Trying to code while entertaining insistent rugrats - not good. (These problems even would have existed pre-COVID, but just brought into the spotlight ATM.)
All I'm suggesting is a checkbox on the problem page "Let me skip today's problem". Click submit, you get asked for confirmation that you want to use one of your "ignore this problem" passes, and boom - you're ticked off. Doesn't affect your eligibility for prize. You may or may not have made an attempt at the problem - maybe you find the problem too hard, or it's just not your day. None of that matters. Maybe LeetCode want to put some reasonable conditions on it - fine.
Some better accommodations need to be made - otherwise LeetCode is just catering to an audience of single, healthy and non-disabled, childfree coders without personal responsibilities. [It's pretty much the same reasons that so many people find hackathons to be toxic environments, but spread over an entire month, rather than just a weekend.]
