I have 4 onsite interviews (2 Machine Learning, 2 coding) scheduled with Google for Software Engineer, Machine Learning.

I know what to do for coding rounds but not sure about ML interviews. They asked me to select an expertise area from a list (Computer Vision, Deep learning, Recommendation systems, Ranking, NLP, etc.). I selected Deep Learning.

My question: what to expect in ML interviews? What kind of questions? ML algorithm theory details or application in real world? ML System design?

I am looking for specific, concrete examples.
