A recruiter at Facebook told me I have two options for Design interview: System Design or Product Design.
I couldn't really understand the difference. The example sounded very similar (both talking about scalability, cashing, databases etc.).
I was told the first one focuses more in depth on distributed system components, and the second - more on high level product components…

Does anyone have experience with this and can explain the difference?
