Hello!

I am a new college grad and I am going to be working at Amazon starting next Fall, which I am incredibly excited about, and I have been strongly considering adopting a dog for a few years now. I figured that now that I have secured a job for after college, that it would be a great time to raise a puppy (Especially with all this time in lockdown). However, the one thing I am absolutely worried about is what will happen to the dog when I begin work. I know that Amazon is dog friendly but I also know the high-stress work that comes along as being an SDE. Will this large work load interfere with me bringing my dog to work? Also, is it normal to bring your dog to work, even if it is a relatively big dog (~30 lbs)? And would I be able to walk my dog at work consistently and take him out? Honestly, I am just curious about whether it would be realistic to own an active dog and work as an Amazon SDE. The last thing I would ever want to do is get a dog and neglect it.
