This post has been written on: 01-02-2024 (February 01st, 2024) and time: 10:43 A.M
Before starting off, here are a few points to be taken into account:
- I have completed the monthly Leetcoding challenge for the month of January, 2024.
- I currently have a POTD solve streak of 32 days (01-02-2024 included).
- I cheated on 5 days because I couldn't solve them on my own.
- I have been on/off on Leetcode for about 2 years now.
- I am in the final semester of my Undergraduate CS degree in a Tier-3 college in India.
- I have no Leetcode premium.
- I currently have made about 2233 coins on Leetcode.
- My main language for Competitive Programming is CPP (It is also the only one I know well).
Two most important things to be remembered:
- I don't have a job (didn't get a resume shortlisting even after applying for hundreds of job postings on career and company websites).
- I want the leetcode laptop sleeve before the start of January, 2025.
The reason I want the sleeve is because I lack consistency in work and have made a new-year resolution to focus on getting atleast one goal done
So here's a plan to myself for achieving a goal to myself:

- Days remaining in the year: 333 days.
- Weeks remaining in the year: 48 weeks.
- Bi-weekly contests' weeks remaining in the year: 24 weeks.

Total : 2233 + 5983 = 8216 coins.
The price of the laptop sleeve is: 8000 coins.
So, the hard deadline is that in December, I must cross the mark and then buy the sleeve.
I don't like the apparels or the notebook, that's why I went for the sleeve.
PS: The buying of the sleeve may seem childish and non-sensical (even to myself). But if I can pull off a goal such as this: which requires every last bit of my hardwork, perseverance, determination and willpower; I will have surpassed the hurdles of distractions and have achieved a new state of mind giving me the resilience to take up challenges of such scale, effortlessly.
Focus and commitment are lacking. I am in the lent season, so I'll keep praying to God and reading the bible to have a clear vision of my path.
