Not sure if this is an LC thing... but I've consistently found stream / lambdas to be extremely slow in pretty much all cases.

I convert my stream to a bunch of fugly for loops and non-predicates etc. and instantly it's 80% instead of like 1% every damn time.

Again, maybe Lambdas in general are just way slower than I've been able to find, but really a bummer.
