I've an upcoming onsite for software engineer, ML (E4/E5 - based on experience + the performance of the interview) at Meta. I have some specific question.

1. Is system design requires API design and writing the code for the API?
2. For ML infra system design, how different it is than general system design?
   I went through the prep guidelines for the system design but really not able to distinguish the difference.

Can you please share some design interview experience?
