Hello everyone,

I am from a non-CS background [Electrical engg], working as a software engineer. I am decent with my coding skills, but I feel I am not good at CS fundamentals. I am not aware of terms like orchestration, virtualization, elastic search, etc. because of this, I struggle in meetings and discussions. I understand not all topics can be covered in the CS fundamentals. But I have two questions; first, what books/topics should I read to strengthen CS fundamentals to help me learn new technologies quickly? Second, how can I get updates about new development happening in various technologies? Also, it would be nice if someone could provide categories of technologies.
