I recieved a call from Google HR a couple of months back, we had discussion on interviews and level for which I apply.

She suggested we can try for L5/L6 depending on how my System Design interview goes, which she will schedule first.

My interview happened in Mid March.

I was asked to design a database type of system, where you have a lot of strings, with some constraints. I think it went well. The interviewer seemed satisfied with my design.

I did not hear back from the HR for 1 weeks, I contaced her, and she said she will get back to me by next week.

Again did not hear for 2 weeks, pinged her, and she told me that someone in her family had covid, will talk to me soon.

1 week after that, she still has not replied back, I tried calling and she is not picking my phone.

I am not sure what happened, but did not expect this from Google HR.
