I have an interview with Apple next monday for an internship role (mix of ML and some webdev). Since I am completely new to technical interviews I just wanted to know what to expect apart from the obvious topics. The email with the invitation to the interview stated that in the first round of there will be two interviews. The first one is a standard coding interview however I will also be tested on scalability and ML.
My first question is: Do you have any idea what the recruiter refers to by the word scalability? To me it seems like that should be part of system architecture, however system architecture would be part of the second interview.
Next I would like to know if anyone has experience on whether the ML questions for interns are the same as those for full-time roles. E.g. do you think it is realisitic that I will need to code a specific ML algorithm or do you expect the questions to be rather shallow, e.g. "what's the difference between a CNN and a RNN?".

The second interview will focus on system architecture, web applications and data visualisation.
Do you have any idea of typical interview questions regarding web applications for an intern?
The same goes for data visualisation. For web applications I can at least think of some example questions but for data visualisation I am truely clueless as to what questions a recruiter could ask.
