I am a new neuroscience PhD and want to get into industry data science. I learned programming entirely by myself as it was needed for the PhD, got quite good with just using the tools but never had any CS background training. I have been studying on and off for a few months and I can solve quite some easy questions (but not always the optiaml solution). However, it still remains unclear to me what kind of leetcode levels I need in order to be competitive for the DS interviews?
I guess the general question is, for someone with sufficient programming experience but no proper CS background, how to approach these questions for the DS interviews, and what are the priorities when time is limited?
Any advice is appreciated!
