Hello,
I have a phone screen in a month for Google New PhD grad SWE (L4, North America). It will be my first tech interview ever. I have been preparing LC for the past six months (380 solved, 128/205/47 easy/medium/hard) but I still don't feel fully prepared. I can solve 30-50% of Mediums within 15-20 minutes, 20% within 30-45, and the rest I get stuck on. I'm a bit slow. I have seen all the patterns now.
Does anybody have any suggestions on what I should do for the next month? I was thinking of doing LC contests a few times a week and doing old/new questions within time constraints with no compiler and no running of code. Also, being thorough with verbal explanations and coming up with test (edge) cases and running them manually.
I need a plan.
I am really stressed out. I have been feeling burnt out from doing LC for 4-8 hours a day for many months so I took the last few days off. But I need to resume the grind and put myself in optimal shape for the interview.
I've also started preparing for the behavioural.
Thanks.
