I've solved hundreds of leetcode problems, and including almost all easy/medium questions and many hard questions as well. Can usually do well above average in leetcode mock interviews. So I am confident that I am fairly strong in the algorithm design part.

However, I've yet to receive a single online assessment from any of the tech companies I applied to. Application after application was sent out, and my expectation was lowered again and again, and there's just no interviews! How am I supposed to prove my ability if there's no opportunity to do so in the first place? Even the referrals I got end with "we are not moving forward with your application at this time."

Am I just super unlucky or am I missing something?
