A little bit more than one year ago tech jobs market had all qualities of candidate-driven market. Big and small tech companies were ready to spend a lot of money to hire and relocate engineers with families and even sign bonuses.
Obviously when covid19 started to spread all over the world the tech jobs market changed. Some companies suspended the hiring, some companies even fired some employees. Borders are closed. Well, at least borders trespassing is more restricted than it was earlier. It means that there are a lot of good candidates NOT in US/EU (including me, lol), who are not even considered for application.
When do you think tech jobs market will change? And will it change to candidate-driven market back at all?
