I, and I'm sure many others, have benefitted immensely from the tag feature.

Many times, the tagged questions have shown up in my interviews.

This has inspired me to tag as many questions as possible (based on my interviews ofc).

I like the tag feature in particular because it completely hides your identity.

I think it's possible for a company to identify you via a discussion post, particularly if you post the identical question soon after the interview finishes. I'm sure this fear has stopped a lot of people from sharing their question in a discussion post.

With that said, it seems that there is little motivation for people to tag question, except out of the goodness of their own hearts. I would like to see Leetcode provide more incentives for people to tag questions, I think that will make this platform much more helpful.

I get that this could backfire, and people could spam tags. But I'm sure the smart folks at leetcode could make some sort of fraud detection algorithm (ex: one user suddenly tags 100 random questions in a day is prob a fraud) to get around this.
