Permanent "switch to old version"

The new UI forces users to fullscreen leetcode and work with an inflexible, unresponsive, opinionated layout.

One would expect the layout to stack vertically when the browser window is resized to an area that cannot fit the side-by-side cancer layout, but instead the code area just gets cut-off and you have to horizontally scroll between the problem spec and the code.

I don't want to be forced to use fullscreen. I should be able to tile the window, at least to a minimum of 80~90 chars. I also don't want to be forced to use the opinionated layout (spec left, code right). I personally always code left, docs right, but I wouldn't build an app to force that on others.

I know you can switch the the "old version" if you enable beta-features in settings, and then select "Switch to old version" from the profile dropdown menu--but you have to do this every time you login, and it often reverts to the overengineered new layout when you navigate to different parts of the site.

Is there no way to permanently maintain the "old" version? Such as an actual setting?
