Incorrect Behavior: After going to insert mode and typing at least 1 character, the caret freezes to the effect of the direction button, but still inserts characters at a distance. The location where the characters are inserted, however, don't seem to follow an invisible caret

Expected behavior: The caret follows the directional arrows in insert mode.

Maybe this is an effect of quantum entanglement?
