I think leetcode should allow users to follow other users. This will help us get remain updated about the progress of our peers as well without going with the hassle of remembering everyones username. I personally think that this feature will help in creating a healthy competition on the website thus possibly increasing the user's time spend on the website (beneficial for both user as well as the Leetcode company).
