I have been doing Leetcode for around 10 to 11 months, and I have a couple of requests for Leetcode developers to consider:
- Sort problems by
Up Votes - Down Votes - Keyboard shortcut for submitting (Not just running)
- How many problems a person has done per day
Sort problems by Up Votes minus Down-Votes:
By sort problems by Up Votes - Down Votes, I mean somthing similar to how there is:
I think there should be a way to sort the problems by the number of upvotes minus the number of downvotes because some problems have a high acceptance rate, but the ratio of upvotes to downvotes is unlikeable (i.e., 2400 : 2239, 1234 : 2345). Someone might say that this isn't that useful for upvotes, and downvotes are people's opinions. Still, I can't entirely agree because, for someone new to Leetcode, it would be easier to decide what problem to do (Opinions are what make great stuff great).
Keyboard shortcut for submitting:
I think there should be a keyboard shortcut for submitting a solution in Leetcode because when I am editing my solution and want to keep checking whether it works for all test cases, I have to move my mouse to the Submit button. I know that run already has this, but I think that submit should as well (It would make life a lot easier).
How many problems a person has done per day:
I think that you or other users should be able to view how many problems you have done each day, not just the number of submissions that you have done. I think this would be a cool option for people to show off what they have done. I also understand why someone might not want people to view the number of problems they have done per day, so I think that users should be able to toggle whether they want people other than themselves to view the number of problems they have done. Without this right now, I am committing my problems to GitHub to see the number of problems I have done per day, but this is a manual and tedious job that I think Leetcode could quickly solve.
