Okay, so what's the deal with mass downvoting of most of the solution posts here? All I can think is that someone is being the ultimate in petty and downvoting other people's solutions to try and promote their own. Am I wrong here? Is there something else going on?

As of right now, today's question has eight solution posts that I can see, and all but one of them is downvoted below 0. And it's not because the code doesn't work.
