Amazon SDE II vs Adyen SE vs Adobe MTS 2 vs Salesforce MTS — Which Offer Should I Choose?

Hi everyone,

I have recently been impacted by layoff and currently deciding between multiple offers and would really appreciate some advice, especially from people who have worked at these companies.

I have ~3 YOE as a backend/SDE and care about career growth, engineering quality, job security Compensation matters, but I don’t want to optimize purely for the highest TC.

Current TC: 30 Base + 10% bonus

Offers

1. Amazon — SDE II (L5), Amazon Music | Bangalore

  • Base: ~₹44–45L
  • Year 1 joining bonus: ₹19.5L
  • Year 2 joining bonus: ₹15.3L
  • RSUs + other components
  • TC: ~₹67L
  • Biggest attraction: SDE II/L5 level, brand value, growth and future exit opportunities
  • Concern: WLB/team dependency and job security

2. Adyen — Software Engineer | Bangalore

  • Base: ~₹45L
  • TC: ~₹55–60L
  • Biggest attraction: engineering culture, payments domain, WLB and relatively stable environment
  • Concern: Less comp than Amazon but less recognition

3. Adobe — MTS 2 | Bangalore

  • Base: ₹26L
  • Target bonus: ₹2.6L
  • RSUs: $68.8K / 4 years
  • Joining bonus: ₹3L
  • Biggest attraction: good WLB/stability + my previous manager/team members are moving there
  • Concern: significantly lower cash compensation

4. Salesforce — MTS | Bangalore

  • Base: ₹30L
  • Bonus: ~10%
  • RSUs: ~$50–54K / 4 years
  • Relocation/one-time benefits
  • Biggest attraction: strong brand, decent WLB and compensation
  • Concern: not sure if it offers the same career acceleration as Amazon/Adyen

5. Disney — Product Software Engineer II

  • Base: ~₹25.4L
  • Target bonus: ~₹1.8L
  • Joining bonus: ₹2.5L
  • LTI/stock component
  • Biggest attraction: brand + potentially better WLB
  • Concern: compensation and growth compared with the other options

6. Blinkit — SDE II

  • Fixed: ~₹36L
  • Performance bonus: up to ~₹10L
  • Biggest attraction: high ownership, fast growth and startup/product exposure
  • Concern: WLB and stability

Right now, my main confusion is Amazon SDE II vs Adyen SE.

Amazon gives me the L5 title, higher TC and potentially stronger career acceleration. Adyen seems attractive for engineering culture, WLB and stability while still paying very well.

If you were in my position, which one would you choose?
