Sharing my Millennium Management, India (Hedge Fund) tech offer from 2024, even though it’s a bit old, I’m posting this to create awareness so others don’t get lowballed like I did.

Background:

• Education: Tier-1
• YOE: 2
• Role: Software Developer
• Offer Date: August 2024
• Previous Compensation : 35 LPA

My Offer:

• Base: ₹40 LPA
• Bonus: ₹10 LPA (target)
• Joining Bonus: None (HR mentioned they dont give JB)
• Other Perks: None worth noting

Later, I found that freshers joining the same role/team were offered:

• Base: ₹50 LPA
• Bonus: ₹15 LPA
• Joining Bonus: ₹5 LPA

So yes, fresh grads were being paid significantly more than someone with 2/3 years of experience from a similar educational background.

👉 If you’re interviewing at Millennium in India, please benchmark carefully, ask around, and push for fair compensation. There’s a massive variance across teams and profiles, even within the same firm.
