I recently got offers from both for SDE-II (Backend) roles.
Here are the details:
Current TC: 29.9LPA fixed + esops

Mindtickle: ₹35 LPA (₹31.8 fixed + ₹3.2 variable) + ESOPs (~2.5K units)

Fivetran: 35LPA fixed (no joining bonus) + ESOPs (~5K units) (I tried negotiating but they are not ready give anything more than this. or maybe i just suck at negotiating. do let me know for any tips)

Hotstar: 3,206,062(Base) +156,940(PF) +373,667 (Variable bonus) and 6 lac as retention bonus as 3 lac in nov 2026 and 3 lac in 2027.

Experience: ~2.8 years (inc internship) (Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, MySQL, AWS — backend focused)

Current location: Bangalore

I’m trying to decide based on growth, learning curve, job stability, and long-term upside, not just pay. I have already joined mindtickle and its been 2 weeks for me. I am not liking it much here.
