Hi everyone,

I recently received 2 offers for roles equivalent to SDE 2. I have 3 YOE in backend development majorly. Need your help to understand which offers can be beneficial.

Current compensation 20L fixed
offers:

1. Frontend Role - famous fintech company
   base offered - 25 LPA
   stocks - 8L over 3 years (equal vesting)
2. Backend Role - unicorn startup
   base offered - 26 LPA
   No stocks
   jb + rb - 3L

both offers are very comparable for year 1 but first one has stocks that can be beneficial. but the role for second is much better I think.

Can you all share your views on what the right choice could be ?

please dont ask about company names, I will update the compensation and experience for those in separate posts.
