Carrier Guidance - Amex vs Genesys | 50 LPA

Hello ppl,

I am with one of the reputed big MNC Sevice based company in Chennai for last couple of year. currently I am looking forward to make some carrier upgrade.

I have offer from Amex and Gensys. Please suggest your pov.

Here are some of my info. I have 10 YOE with 39 CTC package (all fixed). Work life balance is some time good
Sometime it is a rollercoaster.

Here is a option I have it -

  1. Genesys:
  • 48 LPA (10% variable pay in CTC)
  • Staff Data Engineer position
  • WFH
  • Next position i can go to Principal Data Engineer in some year.
  1. AmEx
  • 50 LPA (12% variable pay in CTc)
  • SDE 2 position (Senior Data Engineer 2)
  • Hybrid (3 days to office) - but they says sometime flexible based on
  • not sure how long the next promotion takes.
  1. Current Firm
  • 43 LPA ( expecting hike this month)
  • Lead Data Engineer Position
  • WFH
  • have H1B . But i don't have any interest in travelling now.

The important factor is 90 days notice period. I can't negotiate other bonus and perks.

I am looking forward with the good Work life balance, Good Learning and betterment for future promotions. Also the good Job security.
