Hello Leetcoders,
I have two offers in hand. Current role got impacted due to RIF.

PayPal, Chennai (SDE3) =>
TC - 28 BASE + 2.8 Anuual Bonus + 10 LPA RSUs yearly (No Relocation and JB)
Role - Backend Engineer (Java)

Series D Startup, Bangalore =>
TC - 35 BASE + 2 JB ( + Relocation Support)
Role - Platform Engineer (Cloud + Infra + Go/Python)

Which one should i select ?

PayPal Pros :

1. I'm targeting to join FAANG at senior level in 1.5-2 Yrs. Some WLB in PayPal might help here during preparation.
2. Will PayPal add more value to my resume.
3. I have heard PayPal has good refreshers every year. Is it true ?

PayPal Cons :

1. Recent LayOffs
2. I'm being lowballed for SDE3 position. Not ready to negotiate.
3. Chennai as location - Very hot and humid climate ( But I feel somehow good to keep me on my workdesk and focused for my FAANG preparations Lol ;)

Startup Pros:

1. Higher Fixed Component
2. Cutting age tech
3. Rapid Growth, High Learning Curve and New tech stack to explore

Startup Cons:

1. WLB may take a hit
2. Future Goals might impact
