Hi LeetCode community! 👋
I'm currently at a decision point in my career and would love to hear some thoughts from folks here who’ve navigated similar choices or can provide some insights. I've received two full-time software engineering offers, and I’m trying to evaluate both based on compensation, growth opportunities, work culture, and future prospects.
I’d really appreciate your inputs — especially if you've worked at either of these companies or know how they’re perceived in the industry.
🏢 Offer 1: JPMC
Role: Full Stack Developer
Salary: 45 LPA (Fixed) + Gratuity + Bonus
🏢 Offer 2: SAP Labs
Role: Full Stack Developer
Salary: ₹45 LPA (Including Gratuity) + 10% Variable + 10% One time joining
🧠 My Background:
9+ years of experience, currently working in Banking company (4+ years as Full Stack)
Strong in Java, Spring Boot, Angular, SQL
Looking for a balance between growth and stability, but open to challenges if the learning is worth it.
🤔 My Dilemma:
Are these competitive offers, or are they on the lower side considering the market and my profile?
Which one provides better long-term growth (brand value, learning, comp trajectory)?
I don’t see much frontend exposure in either role, and I’d like to stay connected with full stack if possible.
I’ve solved 800+ DSA questions on LeetCode and Codeforces, and I’m actively trying to break into top tech companies. However, I’m not getting shortlisted — possibly due to my domain experience being largely in banking rather than product-focused/backend-heavy ones.
