Hi everyone,\n\nI\'m currently working at Walmart with 6 years of experience.\nJob title: IN3\nBase salary: 24\nPerformance bonus: 20% of base\nStocks: 15% of base/4\n\nI have rececived an offer from a remote comapny and its a 100% remote role(confirmed from recuiter). But its kind of service based company\nOffer: \nBase: 28 LPA\nJoining bonus: 2 LPA\n\nI\'m looking for a 100% remote role. Is it good to swtich from Product based to Service based company?\nIf you know other remote companies can you pls share the names.\n\nWhy I\'m more inclined towards remote is: \nWalmart is in bangalore and monthly expenses are coming around 40-45k. Which means I need to earn 7 Lakhs to compensate the cost of living. Meaning my effective salary is coming as 24-7 = 17 LPA which is very low considering the skills and yoe.\n\nSo even if remote company matches or even reduce it by 10% than my currrent CTC It\'s still fine. Any thoughts?
